Receiving Computers and Electronics

United Recycle pickup end-of-life equipment from clients. Clients can contact us by sending us by filing up the pickup form online at United Recycle website. All equipment will be handled by United Recycle's employees from clients' warehouses or offices to United Recycle's recycling facilities.We also welcome clients to drop in their equipment at our facilities anytime at no cost.

Classifying Equipments

As soon as the equipments come into our warehouse, we will sort them into different categories, like PCs, Monitors, TVs, MP3 players, power supplies and so on. All sorted materials will be placed in gaylord boxes and ready for equipment testing by experienced technicians.

Equipment Testing and Repairing

United Recycle technicians perform boot tests on equipments. Equipment that doesn't pass boot test will be repaired by replacing broken parts. Equipment that can't be repaired will be recycled as scrap where plastics, chips and circuit boards of the equipments are taken apart for resell. Repaired equipment or equipment that pass boot tests are sold online or to local buyers.

DoD 5220.22-M standard Compliant Method to Wipe Off All Data in Harddisks

We provide DoD method, the most secured harddisk removal method, to permanently wide off all data in clients' equipments. There are many recyclers in the United States provide "Format" and "Fdisk" services to delete clients' data and they are unaware that those data can be recovered easily with File Recovery software that can be downloaded online.

Relying on inexperienced electronic recyclers without proper data removal procedure present huge business risks as well as the danger of non-compliance with federal laws including the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act and the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act.
